New York Fashion Week is upon us, and so far it's been a fierce, Fenty-filled spectacle of Hadid sisters and clothes we'll never be able to afford.

Oh, and just a few vaginas.

But Nicki Minaj wants to use the industry's biggest event of the season as an opportunity to address an important issue that's been plaguing the fashion scene for far too long.

The Cut reports that while wrapping up her set at the after-party for Philipp Plein’s show Saturday night, the 34-year-old rapper called out the fashion industry's long-running exploitation of Black culture and lack of inclusion.

“Thank you Philipp Plein for including our culture,” Nicki said, acknowledging the German designer's efforts to support diversity through his shows. “Designers get really big and really rich off of our culture, and then you don’t see a motherf*cker that look anything like us in the front row half the time. So let’s make some noise for Philipp Plein tonight.”

Nicki had publicly stood up to the industry's BS once earlier this year, as Complex pointed out, when she blasted designer Giuseppe Zanotti for refusing to take her call about a possible business deal — even though he allegedly told her that she inspired one of his shoe designs.

Girl's changing the fashion world for the better, one show (or tweet!) at a time. 👑
