Taken from a quote by Muhammad Ali, the longest-running Adidas slogan is, “Impossible is Nothing.” So maybe it’s not impossible for a 1,500-year-old mummy to be found wearing Adidas kicks!
Archeologists found the stylishly-shod human remains in Mongolia, and the discovery is being praised as the very first complete Turkik burial unearthed in Central Asia.
That’s quite a coup for anthropologists and archeologists, but all anyone can talk about are the mummy’s “sneakers.” (Actually, feet of the remains just happened to be wrapped in such a way that they resembled modern-looking running shoes.)
In addition to the mummy, archeologists found a saddle, the remains of an entire horse, a clay vase, and a wooden bowl. These date from the 6th Century A.D. (Hmmm… AD-idas…)
What do you think about this recent discovery?
