The five living former United States presidents came together on Thursday to start One America Appeal, which will raise money for the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
“People are hurting down here,” George W. Bush said in the public service announcement. “But as one Texan put it, ‘We’ve got more love in Texas than water.’”
Michelle Obama then shared the clip on Instagram, adding, "I have been watching with such awe as people across America have rushed to support our friends in Houston and communities along the Gulf Coast. This response represents the very best of who we are and what this country is about."
The former first lady applauded Americans who are helping their neighbors rebuild during this difficult time.
"In times of tragedy, as we lean on each other and come together as one American family to help our neighbors recover and rebuild, we are reminded of how much we all need each other." Michelle added. "From those who have generously donated time and money, to the countless heroes who have risked their lives to save others, to @barackobama and our former presidents uniting to rally support, thank you for standing together."
People were shocked to see that Trump wasn't in the video, however, he tweeted that he stands with #OneAmericaAppeal a couple hours later:
